Al Massira

Al Massira

Al Massira is a journey

Jesus took a journey to a village called Emmaus, recorded in the book of Luke, with two friends who were struggling to find answers to some big questions. He explained to them, through the messages (or signs) of the ancient Prophets, the answers they were searching for. Al Massira aims to take small groups of friends on a similar journey to discover answers that are relevant for today’s world and reveal the true identity of the Messiah.

Looking for answers?

– Why is the world in such turmoil?
– Where can I find forgiveness?
– Where is God in my problems and struggles?
– Can my good deeds really cancel out my bad ones?
– Does God listen when I call upon him?
– How can I know what God wants from me?
– How can I know if God will accept me when I die?
– What are the ‘signs’ of the Prophets, what do they mean for me today?
– Who was the Messiah, and what was his ‘sign’
Al Massira explores these questions from the perspective of the Holy Scriptures and is particularly relevant to people from a Muslim and Middle Eastern culture. It is available in a variety of languages including Arabic, Farsi and English.
We will be starting Al Massira, which means ‘The Journey’ at St Paul’s in the next couple of weeks. We simply invite you to come listen, ask questions, enjoy food and friendship together, and make up your own mind about what you hear.
We will have both Farsi and English speakers leading the discussion groups.
