Here at St Paul’s we have a lovely big space and so, once a week, we put out lots of toys, puzzles and play areas for babies and toddlers to enjoy. Everyone is welcome as long as you have a baby or toddler with you!
You’ll find us a very friendly and diverse bunch of people, who look forward to providing a space for busy (and maybe lonely) mums, dads, grannies and granddads to sit, chat, make friends, play and have fun together.
We have families of all sorts, from all over the world, and of different faiths and languages. So, whether you’re a mum on your own, mum and dad, two mums or two dads, foster parent or grandparent with a little one, whether you speak English or not, have a faith or not, you are welcome 🙂
It costs just £1 per family, which helps towards tea, coffee and biscuits during the session, as well as special treats at the end of term, Christmas and Easter. You’ll need to bring a drink for your little ones.
We start with free play and a craft, painting or glueing will be available for the older ones. We serve tea and coffee at 10.00am. Then towards the end of the morning session, everyone helps to pack away and we gather for a fun, mad, musical 20 minutes with instruments, egg shakers, scarves and bubbles, as we sing songs and nursery rhymes. I’m not quite sure who enjoys this the most – the adults or the children!!
So, if you fancy joining us and you have a child aged 0 – 3 years old, then do come along any Thursday morning during school term time. We look forward to meeting you.
